The Program

 

Mind & Move Virtual is a comprehensive wellness program for students in grades 6-9 created by Wymbin, a local team of educators passionate about bringing change to our youngest citizens.

 

The classes are aimed at giving students tools to build their capacity for self regulation & resilience through movement, breath and connection. This program is unique as it focuses on teaching simple tangible tools to support many of the common challenges faced by youth today, with special focus on supporting mental health.

 

Through exploration of mind and body (and it's innate connections) in a safe and inclusive COMMUNITY we unlock potential, elevating this generation of youth from merely surviving to a place of thriving. 

 

These days the world feels as if it's constantly being turned on its head. The only certainty is the constant uncertainty. As protocols change, school moves from online to in-person and back again and routines are thrown out of whack our students need something certain. Something and someone that they can connect with. They need new faces and new tools because the tools we've been using just aren't enough anymore. Mind & Move is here to do exactly that! Our educators are ready to show up for each and every student, hearts full, ready to listen, learn and share this journey together. We've got a toolkit that has helped us get through many challenges and we can't wait to share it with you! Are you ready?
