Comprehensive Wellness Programs for Schools

Wymbin is proud to offer collaborative and unique programs for students, educators, and school communities.

We offer support and tools needed to elevate the well-being and capacity of our youth and educators. The program supports educators while bringing new skills and regulation tools to the classroom. 

Our Mind + Move programs address many of the common challenges faced in educational settings today including:

  • Self regulation & healthy coping mechanisms (students & educators)

  • Academic performance & focus

  • Anxiety

  • Resilience to stress

  • Behaviour & classroom management

  • Diversity & inclusion

  • Social connections, relationships with self & others

Mind + Move 
School Residencies

Details:

  • 1 - 5 day program (options available)

  • 6 - 30 instructional hours with a Wymbin Educator

  • Integrated mental health support & resources to build personal capacity

  • Fundamental movement & physical literacy skills

  • Curriculum-based learning (SEL and core competencies)

  • Wymbin's Signature Wellness Resource Bundle for all staff

 

  • Mat rental available

  • French speaking teachers available

Mind + Move
After School Programs

Details: 

  • 4 week program, after school

  • 4 x 60min sessions - 1 per week

  • Age appropriate programming

  • Intentional weekly themes and activities

  • $10 credit per child toward a camp or workshop at the Wymbin studio in Inglewood

  • $5 per student registered will be donated back to the School Parent Council

  • Complimentary yoga mats and all materials include

  • 10 student minimum

  • Parent volunteer participants welcome

  • French speaking teachers available
