Service Description

Over the course of the 6 sessions, students will learn foundational yoga postures in a connected & engaging way by adventuring through themes. Children learn and develop important gross motor skills such as balance, strength, stability, and cooperation & communication with others. This 45 minute class includes 30 minutes of movement and adventure, followed by 15 minutes of calmer ‘cool down’ such as meditation, relaxing yoga postures, breathing exercises and more. Themes: Week 1: Friendship Week 2: Self-Love Week 3: Celebrating Differences Week 4: Confidence Week 5: Gratitude Week 6: Mindfulness
