We’re thrilled to introduce the exceptional new and returning team members joining us for the 2024/25 Preschool and Jr Kindergarten year at Wymbin. Each brings unique skills and passions that will enrich our community and support our children’s growth and learning in exciting new ways.
Ana Luciene Conde - Director of Programming and Early Learning
Miss Ana has been a part of the Wymbin community since 2018. Her positive experiences led her to transition from a corporate career to early childhood education in 2016. With a BSc in Psychology, Level 2 ECE, and a deep interest in developmental science, Miss Ana previously worked as a Child Development Specialist, collaborating with health professionals to support preschool-aged children with specific needs. She believes that behaviour is a form of communication and is an advocate for strong child-caregiver relationships. As she embarks on the 2024/25 school year, she remains dedicated to bridging any interpretive gaps between children and parents on play and learning, and looks forward to supporting each child's growth through a holistic approach.
Erin Czypionka - Program Supervisor / Seedlings
Miss Erin is thrilled to rejoin the Wymbin team, drawn by the opportunity to engage in nature exploration, field trips in Inglewood, daily yoga and mindfulness practices, and fostering meaningful connections with children and their families. With a diverse background that includes roles as a special education assistant, lead kinder and preschool educator, preschool program supervisor, circus and aerial head coach, and artistic director of a dance studio, Erin brings a passion for movement and creative expression to her work. She holds a Bachelor of Child Studies in Early Learning and enjoys traveling, practicing aerial circus, paddle boarding, camping, baking, and spending time with loved ones. Erin looks forward to supporting children’s social and emotional development through Wymbin’s holistic approach to early learning.
Marissa Johnson - Seedlings Lead Educator
Miss Marissa is excited to be continuing with the Wymbin team, and is eager to connect with each child and support their learning journey. She has run her own day home for several years and completed her Early Childhood Education and Development Diploma from Bow Valley College. She also holds a Brainstory Certificate, which deepened her understanding of brain development and the impact of trauma and stress on children, along with certifications in Alberta Health and Safety Basics for Child Care Providers, Being Trauma Aware, and PreventIT. Outside of work, Marissa enjoys reading, creating art, caring for her indoor plants, and spending time with her family, which includes her husband Justin, daughter Isabelle, son Noah, 18-year-old cat Karma, 6-year-old chinchilla Alcmene, and their many fish and shrimp.
Carly McLeod - Saplings Lead Educator
Miss Carly is excited to join the Wymbin team, drawn by the community-centered approach that mirrors her own values. As a mother of two and a former nanny, Carly understands the importance of creating a safe, nurturing environment for young children to explore and grow. She holds an Early Learning and Child Care Diploma from Bow Valley College and is the owner of A Concept Planner, a day-of event coordinating service. Carly loves spending time outdoors with her family, going on adventures, creating playlists, and organizing her home. She also enjoys coffee, dancing, and playing hide and seek with her children—3-year-old Wilbur and 2-year-old Lonnie—and their 10-year-old rescue pup, Thorman.
Kelly Grinde - Saplings Co-Educator
Miss Kelly is excited to officially join the Wymbin team, after previously teaching both summer camps and youth yoga classes at Wymbin. She loves the school's emphasis on daily mindfulness, movement, and outdoor exploration, which aligns perfectly with her own values. With a diverse background that includes teaching at Montessori and Reggio schools, and providing OT and SLP support, she also holds a Level 3 Early Childcare Certificate and Kids and 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certifications. Outside of work, Miss Kelly enjoys camping, hiking, paddle boarding, and yoga. She lives with her boyfriend Quintin and their two dogs, Tika and Benji, and treasures time with her mom, sister, and nieces Cali and Kiran.
