Adventures In Our Community

An adventure awaits.

Wymbin is located in the heart of Inglewood, Calgary, Alberta, and there are no shortage of spots to explore.

Nature is at the heart of who we are and we incorporate this into all teachings–both indoors and outdoors. With an abundance of parks, green spaces and cultural centres, here are some of the locations our littles are able to venture out to.

Little Red
Reading House

We’re just a 3-minute walk away from the Little Red Reading House. We’re proud to work alongside Calgary Reads where children can experience the joy of reading. Our students enjoy reading independently, listening to stories read aloud, and exploring the cozy themed spaces curated by the Calgary Reads team. At the end of each visit, each child can choose a free book to take home and treasure.

Esker Foundation

Igniting a spark of creativity is never far for our littles. The Esker Foundation Contemporary Art Gallery is just a 2-minute walk from our studio. Our students are able to discover various exhibitions at the gallery each season, which change in fall, winter and spring/summer.

Calgary Central
Public Library

Immerse yourselves in a world of books at the Calgary Central Public Library–just short 15-minute walk away from Wymbin. The Jocelyn Louise Anderson Children’s Library is a 12,200-square-foot space giving the youngest of our kids a dedicated place to read, learn and explore.

St. Patrick's Island

A revitalized 31-acre backyard for our community, located just a 20-minute stroll away from Wymbin. Restored in a way to give Calgarians an oasis amongst the concrete of the city, St Patricks Island is our choice for our annual end-of-year family celebration.
