Clay Play: Independent Makers | Ages 6–10

An open-ended creative session where kids can experiment, build, sculpt, and follow their imaginations.

Time & Location

Sep 13, 2026, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Wymbin, 919 9 Ave SE #50, Calgary, AB T2G 0S5, Canada

About the classes

A creative clay session designed to give children the freedom to experiment, build, sculpt, and discover what they can do with their hands. Children may explore hand-building, texture, form, sculptural techniques, or other elements of ceramics depending on the focus of the session. The emphasis is on the process of making — noticing what the clay can do, solving creative problems, trying something new, and learning through experimentation.

With a small group setting and plenty of time to work independently, children can settle into the rhythm of creating at their own pace while knowing Zana is there to support them when they need a little guidance or inspiration.
